What we publish

Facts printed on product pages and packages, figures computed from them (price per ounce, rankings by a named measure) and guides that explain how to read them. Every ranking names its measure in its heading.

What we do not publish

Taste scores, invented reviews, health claims, or anything a label does not say. Ratings appear as the store prints them, with their count.

Sources and corrections

Rules about labels and food safety come from the federal agencies listed on How we keep this guide current, each read before it is cited. Found an error? Write to shelftags@aplenty.net; corrections go on the page itself.
