Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder and a mix of herbs coat the same round, twice-baked pita chip as the sea salt bag. The seasoning is built on dairy: modified whey, nonfat dry milk, whey and real parmesan made with cheese cultures. A little cane sugar goes in as well, and the label counts 1 g of added sugar per serving.
Milk is the line to watch. Unlike the sea salt bag, this one contains milk as well as wheat, may contain soy, and carries a Kosher Dairy mark rather than plain Kosher. About ten chips come to a serving with 260 mg of sodium, the saltiest pita bag in the aisle.
