Powdered bell pepper, red and green, plus tomato powder and paprika color the seasoning on these round pita chips. Onion, garlic and a hint of smoke flavor sit behind them. The base is the usual dough of the line, enriched and fermented wheat flours with a little organic honey and malted barley flour. Sunflower oil goes in, mid-oleic or high-oleic, as the label allows either.
Wheat is the only allergen on the label, and unlike the other three pita flavors there is no may-contain note for milk or soy. Celery turns up inside the spice blend, which matters if you avoid it. A serving is about 10 chips with 5 g of fat, the leanest of the four bags.
